Presles is a major climbing centre. The cliff is attractive and fascinating but we reluctantly admit that there are other places too: the Cerces, the Gillardes, the Tenailles, the Tête d'Aval, the Verdon, the Carroux... and others.
Climbing with a guide means you can safely tackle routes that are a bit above your level and also leapfrog if you want to. The atmosphere is always friendly and relaxed.

The programme will include rope work, self rescue technique, aid technique and a briefing on the latest techniques and equipment. For night birds, an 80m2 indoor climbing wall is at your disposal. A beautiful way to discover the Vercors. The day begins with about a two hour walk-in. Then we get kitted-up to climb the Pilier Martin, an easy 4c max (British 4a/b). The next stage of the climb is a beautiful ridge-traverse with an unforgettable view over the Alps. This day out is intended for fit beginners, through to experienced climbers.
